1. Registration for presentation in the Annual Meeting:

Open from May 9th (Mon.) till June 3rd (Fri.) 15:00 (JST)

Registration site will open on May 9th (Mon.).

Notes:
In the registration, please choose oral presentation/poster presentation/no preference.
Oral presentation is 20 minutes including discussion.
Poster presenters under the age of 30 (JLCS members; excluding the previous awardees) are eligible to apply for the JLCS Kousai Poster Award.

Registration for presentation form closed at 3:00 p.m., June 3rd (JST)


2. Abstract submission:

Open from June 24th (Fri.) till July 15th (Fri.)

Submission site will open on June 24th (Fri.).

Templates with preparation instructions: MS-Word, PDF.

The publication date of the JLCC2016 abstracts (CD-ROM) will be August 19th, 2016.

Submision form of your abstract file closed at July 15th (JST)


3. Registration for participation and payment:

Registration for participation and payment (early bird fee): June 27th (Mon.) – July 29th (Fri.)

Registration for participation and payment (late fee): July 30th (Sat.)-August 31st (Wed.)

Note (common to all participants):
Member fee applies also to members of Societies in cooperation, and to those from Corporate Members (in Japanese).

Notes to participants from abroad:
Participants from abroad can pay the early-bird registration fee at the conference site if you complete the registration for participation and payment by the early-bird fee deadline (July 29th (Fri.), JST). Only cash (Japanese yen) will be accepted.
Conference materials (abstract CD-ROM, name badge) will be handed at the conference site, and will not be sent to your address.

Notes to participants from Japan:
Although on-site registration and payment are possible, registration and payment in advance are strongly encouraged to avoid unnecessary troubles. Late fee applies to on-site payment.
Early-bird fee applies to participants who complete payment by bank transfer through Japan Post Bank (ゆうちょ銀行) by the early-bird fee deadline (July 29th (Fri.), JST).
Participants who complete payment by August 8th (Mon.) will receive conference materials (abstract CD-ROM and name badge) one week prior to the Conference.

Late/On site: 10,000 yen

4. Friendship Meeting (September 4th)

Date: September 4th (Sun.) 13:20- (The room opens at 13:00)

Site: Room 121, Building No. 1 (2F), Omiya Campus, Osaka Institute of Technology

This friendship meeting is intended to provide young researchers with an opportunity to establish friendship with each other, and consists of several lectures on cutting-edge researches from senior researchers, and short presentations from young researchers. Young researchers are encouraged to give a short presentation to introduce their research. If you wish to give a short presentation, notify us in the "Comment" field of the registration form for participation that will open on June 27th.

6. Accommodation

Participants are responsible for their own accommodation.
We recommend hotels in regions along Subway Tanimachi line that provides convenient transportation to Omiya Campus.
In particular, there are many hotels around Umeda which are conveniently located.


7. Other information

Information for oral presenters
Oral presentation is 20 minutes including 5-minute discussion.
Bring your own PC for the presentation, and make sure in the break time that it works well with the projector on site.

Information for poster presenters
Poster presentation will be on September 5th (Mon.) [PA:10:30-12:00, PB:13:30-15:00].
Poster panel: height 175cm, width 90cm (We recommend your poster height to be 120cm or smaller).
Pushpins are prepared at the poster room.
